Findacure is delighted to announce its next online workshop, which will delve into the basics of community fundraising for rare diseases through COVID-19 and beyond.

The workshop will take place over the course of three days, each day we will explore a different theme in a two-hour interactive session. We will delve into the basics of community fundraising, assess its benefits and look at the tools and platforms available to help you with your campaign. In addition, we will look at the impact of COVID-19, alongside the rise of digital innovation, and assess the opportunities for virtual and remote fundraising moving forward.

Finally, it wouldn’t be a Findacure workshop if we didn’t also provide you with practical tips and guidance on how to run a successful community fundraising project!

Attendees will gain the most benefit by attending all three days of the workshop, however, you can also sign up for each session independently.

As spaces are limited, we politely request that only one member from each organisation registers to attend

11:00am - 1:00pm, Tuesday 21st of September

Day one of our workshop will look at what community fundraising is, assess the benefits of this type of fundraising and provide an overview of the different routes and platforms that are available to patient groups. We will also hear from patient groups themselves who will provide examples of successful community fundraising projects.
